Incontinence Data from the Demographic and Health Surveys: Comparative Analysis of a Proxy Measurement of Vaginal Fistula and Recommendations for Future Population-Based Data Collection
The true incidence and prevalence of fistula are not known, and this report attempts to begin to fill knowledge gaps. It reviews the various methodological approaches used to measure fistula and recommends a new approach to survey data collection.
